ネットミーティング
今日は日本技術士会 青年委員会の拡大委員会，全国の関係者が一同に集う年次報告会です。ここで，会場に直接こられない方のために，ネットミーティングを実施しました。
○ホスト会場（本会場）
講演用PC（講師が使用し，デスクトップはSOBAにてゲスト会場と共有させている）
管理用PC（カメラ，マイクを管理し，ゲスト会場からの接続をチャットでフォロー）
○ゲスト会場
PC（カメラ，マイクにて，ホスト会場へ参加する）
北海道から1名
関東の自宅参加が1名
中部から1名
広島から2名
ソフトウェアは，SOBAとSkypeの併用をしました。音声はエコーキャンセルが有効なSkypeが優れること，SOBAのほうがやや複雑なため，Skypeのグループチャット機能でそのフォローができることからも，組み合わせの利点がありました。
無償版のSOBA Cityを予定していましたが，当日にサーバ障害が判明。急きょ，使ったことがない優勝版SOBA Mierukaを，無償試用（30日）するということで対応しました。こちらも興味がありましたので，よい機会ではありました。これで事なきを得ました。
デスクトップを配信する講演用PCは，事情で低スペックなPCを割り当てざるを得ませんでしたが，そのためか，かなりゲストへの画面表示が重くなりました。これまで未経験でしたが，PCスペックもチェックが必要と思いました。
その他は概ねスムーズで思い通り，双方向コミュニケーションができました。会場でも好評で，今後，拠点間の遠隔共催実施へ夢が広がります。ただ，サーバ障害に対して，もう一系統のサービスをバックアップに持ちたいところです。
